MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: CPH is proud to announce Mike Glumac as the Assistant Coach of the 10U team. Mike will be assisting Coach Ryan Cruthers to form a very professional and experienced coaching staff.

Coach Glumac grew up in Niagara Falls, Ontario. He played his youth hockey and junior hockey in Ontario, before heading to Miami of Ohio University to play NCAA D1 hockey. Coach Glumac played four years of hockey at Miami and graduated college with a major in Finance.

“Adding Mike to the CPH family is a great day for our organization. The experience, passion, and knowledge that Mike brings everyday will help our boys and girls become better players and people. He is going to be a great resource for our young athletes and I am excited for him to get more involved.” - CPH BOD

After graduation, Coach Glumac embarked on a playing career that would had stops in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, DEL, and KHL. He played over 1,000 professional games, had over 550 points, made multiple all star teams, and was Captain for a team in Russia’s top league, the KHL.

Coach Glumac had success at the international level, representing Croatia as both a player and coach, helping Croatia to a silver medal in the World Championship. Croatia’s highest finish ever.

The Glumac’s have called Charlotte home for the last four years. Carolina Premier Hockey is excited to welcome Mike, his wife Melissa and children Eli, Liam, and Emma to the CPH family!
