CPH is proud to announce Jake Oleksiak as the Head Coach of the 2010 team. Coach Oleksiak has 35 years of experience in the hockey community. Growing up in both Canada and the United States, Jake had much success as a hockey player on both sides of the border. As a youth hockey player, he won the Ontario Provincial and New York State Championships. As his career progressed, Jake was a rare three-year member of the prestigious Nichols Prep School Varsity Program serving as captain under Coach Frank Sacheli. In addition, Jake played for Major AAA teams in NY and Junior B teams in Ontario. He won Hockey Night in Boston and was chosen as Top Defenseman over [who would become] future NHL players at the Annual Chicago Showcase Tournament. Unfortunately, injuries limited the time Jake played at Clarkson University, a division one hockey program. Since, Jake has mentored and coached young players in Buffalo, NY and Charlotte, NC. Jake is the eldest of five siblings, one of whom plays in the NHL and one who is a decorated Olympian for the Canadien Olympic Swim Team.
